Our colleagues joined online the second transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ project ROOTS (Building and Linking Roots), which took place on 17 January 2023 in Lousada (Portugal).
The aim of the project is for young people to learn about the roots of the cultures of the participating countries and to see how they all coexist and influence each other. Not only will they discover a part of history through the project, but they will also learn about the specific elements that can be learned through the arts (music, dance, poetry, etc.), while developing their creativity. Thanks to the project, they will be able to raise awareness of the importance of intercultural dialogue in order to achieve a tolerant, empathetic and respectful society. They will also be able to pass on what they have learnt to their environment (family, friends, classmates).
In order to achieve our main objectives, we will develop 3 project outcomes:
- Methodological guide for cultural workshops
- Cultural workshops
- Online platform
