The deadline for applications for the Accelerator program was 2 august. The consortium will notify applicants of the results on 8 september 2023. The Innovate call will be published in the first half of 2024.

The SUSRUR project (Towards SUStainability and resilient scenarios for tourism SMEs in RUral & Remote Areas), co-financed by the EU, was launched in January 2023. The project proposes to support SMEs from 5 rural and remote areas in Europe - the region of Asturias (Spain), region of West Macedonia (Greece), Harghita County (Romania), Utena (Lithuania), Steirisches Vulkanland (Austria) - by promoting sustainability and innovative practices and strategies while providing them with tools and skills to strengthen their competitiveness , increasing awareness and ability to accelerate, and implement the green and digital transition.

Organizations involved in the project: Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania), as coordinator, Koestinger Asetila (Austria), F6S Network Ireland Limited (Ireland), Harghita Community Development Association (Romania), Entrepreneurship Support Foundation - JOIN4CS ( Greece), Espacio Tormaleo S.L. (Spain).
