In the Theatre of Legends - Theatre for Youths Erasmus+ project we will organize our first workshop between 19-23 June 2023, in Miercurea Ciuc, Romania, where Spanish and Romanian young people will participate and learn about our legends based on the methodology developed in Activity 1 - Methodological Guide of Theatre Techniques for Young People.

About the project and workshop:

• The main aim of the project is to highlight the importance of theatre as an educational tool for young people, by developing new techniques to help them work on the different values of their personality.
• We will use the different legends of the countries or cities of the participating organisations, which will help us to discover some of the characteristics and interesting features of each place, together with the transnational experiences that will be created.
• The guide aims to provide educators and youth leaders with a useful tool for teaching theatre techniques to young people.
• The main target group: youth and other associations, municipalities and youth leaders who work with young people and want to work with young people on educational and multicultural issues using theatre tools.
• The workshops will be held in English.

The main topic of the workshop will be the legend of the Lake Saint Anne, so on Monday 19 June we will go on a trip to the Mohos Bog and Lake Saint Anne, where the guide will tell the story of these in detail, including the legend. In this way, Spanish and local participants can get to know each other in a less bound framework.

Participants: 

• are aged between 14-18 years old,
• are motivated to participate in this activity and are interested in the proposed topic,
• assume that they will share with others the knowledge, attitudes and abilities learned, and that they will be actively involved in all stages of the project.
