Theatre of Legends - Theatre for Youths - Miercurea Ciuc

The first workshop of the Erasmus+ Theatre of Legends - Theatre for Youths project was organised in Miercurea Ciuc, from 19th to 23rd June. The event was attended by young people from Spain and Romania, who spent the first day learning about the legends of Mohoș Bog and Lake St. Ana. On the second day, young people learned different theatrical techniques through play, getting to know each other and themselves. On the third day of our theatre workshop, participants were awaited with new and interesting challenges. They learned improvisation techniques, theatre games, character analysis and drama techniques. During the rest of the event, the legend of St Anne's Lake was adapted and presented.

As part of the project, partners discussed the activities carried out so far and the workshop in Spain planned for September from 20-21 June.

The Theatre of Legends - Theatre for Youths project aims to highlight the importance of theatre as an educational tool for young people by developing new techniques to help them work on different values of their personality. One of the priorities we want to address is the importance of diversity, the importance of knowing and respecting different cultures, for this we will use the presentation of different legends from the countries or cities of the participating organizations, which will help to discover some characteristics and curiosities of each place, together with the transnational experiences that will be created.
